Midnight Run

With two months to go Duh-bya is beginning to exploit his right to 'Midnight Regulations'.  This pesky little loophole allows for an exiting President to pass just about anything they want and the incoming leader will be able to do almost nothing about it.  Like leaving the money on the table these 'midnight regulations' help service interest groups that are particularly special to the guy on his way out the door.  With an approval rating that looks like he was asleep for eight years don't you think we could revoke this kind of right of passage in George's case? I had a chance to peruse Bush's list of last second pot shots at the American public.  My favorite 'combo platter' combines regulations allowing for more pollution of the air and water and less access to aid for medical/family leave.  So the odds of getting sick from environmental contamination will increase while the odds of being able to get any medical help will decrease.  Don't drink the water kids.  For look at all the midnight regulations ready to go check out http://www.propublica.org/special/midnight-regulations for all the uncouragement you can handle.
